I finally got fed up and converted to the new non-beta Blogger. I hate being pushed to new versions. At heart, I am a Luddite and the phrase "Legacy Software" is music to my twisted, little soul. I know the corporate motto for the multi-colored search engine is Don't be evil but, still, they made using the old version of blogger a royal PITA (and I'm not talking Levantine pocket bread). It's not so much stick that works with me, as difficuly in achieving the coveted carrot.
However, I do like the improved dashboard, and I will eventually I will recategorize everything here as either Life, or No-Life (and I'm psyched that I can now do so).
Other feature reviews as I explore them. Maybe I can bribe some nerdy guy to make a neato header for me, too. I hear he likes cookies.
Meanwhile, it's another gray day in paradise. Rain at 11:00. I'm supposed to be redlining (editing in a way advantageous to my client) a proposed real estate purchase agreement for a partly commercial - partly residential warehouse; reviewing the sections of the Infernal Revenue Code that relate to determining the size of a person's estate for tax purposes; preparing a scholarly work topic proposal, and redoing the performance exam I failed two weeks ago. That's just half of my homework.
Honestly, I feel like oozing back into the couch, popping 14 xanax, and checking out for a few hours of me + iPod + naval-gazing hits of the 90s, or perhaps some music to slit your wrists to. Something mellow and relaxing, and non panic-inducing. But in truth, my ass is parked on a wooden chair in a cafe, so no couch and chemically induced relaxation for me.

Hey QIR!
Thanks for commenting on my blog. Yeah I'm totally into IP law because it has affected the technology landscape so much in the past few years and is a fascinating aspect that sets the course of so much tech development (whether it hinders or helps).
Thanks!
I totally love music that you can slit your wrists, too. What's the deal with THAT? Before I had a kid, I loved to sit on my deck at night and listen to it so I could get all moody. Then I'd fall asleep. Ah, I miss those days.
