Carol of the Bells
Yesterday after work the carillon in the nearby clock tower started spinning out music after tolling the five o clock hour. It was lovely. I used to play in a bell choir when I was young and impressionable. Bell choirs now give me the chills, and generally not in a good way, but I do love the music of a carillon. Instead of running home to do school work, I sat down at the fountain, and listened for forty five minutes. Air on the G string, Claire de lune, I forget what else, it was all very pleasant and fit my contemplative state of mind perfectly. I've been ruminating more than usual of late, I like it. I've forgotten how. Now I just need to figure out a way to remember my ruminations, in case I think up something good.
