riding for the home stretch

I'm back from spring break during which I accomplished nothing but exercise and playing online games.

2 weeks from today... oral arguments
5 weeks from today... end of classes
7 weeks from today... end of year one

I still need to get a friggin job. This morning I gave a ride to a litigator from one of the preeminent IP firms in the area. I asked if he gave informational interviews. Alas, he was so soft spoken I didn't hear him say he'd do lunch with me, so alas, I didn't get his card. DUMBASS!!!!

Happily, my classmate heard him, so I'll look him up on his firm's website and send an e-mail.

I guess I need to really start looking for hearing aids now.

Failing vision can be dead sexy, failing hearing never is. I'm screwed.
