What to do, what to do?

The agreement is once a month D&T or I will travel to visit the other one. Last semester I visited one extra time, on the condition that he would visit me an extra time this semester. Here is where I need the fresh brains. I have two options for visiting him.

Option 1 would entail visiting NY while the Christo exhibit is up. There's a 3 day weekend and if I act quickly, (before Friday) RT tix will still be about $250.
Pros:
- Get to see Christo exhibit in Central Park: The Gates
- Get to see at least one friend I don't usually see while I am there
Cons:
- NYC is really frigging cold in February, I don't like cold
- If the weather doesn't cooperate Christo exhibit won't be up
- If I go then, I won't get to see D&T at all while on my spring break, which seems like a phenomenal waste of a spring break
Neither here nor there:
- If I didn't go there, D&T would come here

Option 2 would entail visiting NY at the end of March while I am on Spring Break
Pros:
- Could visit for nearly ten days. (Haven't seen D&T for 10 days in a row since some time prior to last summer.)
- Timing would coincide with the 4th anniversary of the date we tend to celebrate as "anniversary"
- NYC would be warmer, and prettier
- Good opportunity to practice oral advocacy presentation in front of a friendly audience
Cons:
- None for me
- D&T would have to find somewhere else to schlep his kids for one of those weekends or we would all have to be together in the mini-apt together.

What would you do in my shoes?

I like the idea of both! But if you can't swing it, go for the 10 days, and schlep the kids somewhere fun for that one weekend. Cristo or 10 days with yr SO ... hm. No contest.

Whoo hooo! I am indeed using that book. We just went over a few of the elements of adverse possession. Whee!
