When I was last in NYC I ended up in a Sephora store on the coldest day of the year because my jeans had frozen while I was still wearing them and I was cold. I left the store with a new gloss and a new lipstick because the rust colored tint I had with me just didn't seem quite right. It's a darker shade than I normally wear, a dark plummy color. It doesn't quite seem right out here. I guess in addition to east coast clothes I also need to have east coast makeup. For some reason, I find that a little bizarre.
