Not getting it

I love my classes, I like the materials, I like the professors, never the less, I despair.

I'm feeling like I'm not efficient in my studies, that my efforts are insufficient to pull the necessary information from the material, and that even if I had 25 hours a day to do this stuff, it still wouldn't be enough because my failings are fundamental.

it's not that there aren't enough hours in the day, it's that my various approaches are all wrong and are missing the heart of the matter, and close only counts in horse shoes, hand grenades and thermonuclear weaponry.
