One of the people employed by my company will be sleeping in San Francisco tonight, and it isn't me.
The private garage closest to our office building, the one where NotMe's car is parked, closes sometime before 9:00pm. After that, you're out of luck until the following day. Because we're getting down to the wire for our event, we've all been pulling some longer hours. I left after a full 10 hour day. Unfortunately, NotMe realized the problem long after there was anything to be done about the problem, thus the unplanned hotel stay.
We all keep toothbrushes in our desk drawers, but maybe I should keep a clean set of knickers and socks as well.

I recommend The Red Coach Motor Lodge off O'Farrell Street for an unplanned stay in downtown SF
That's where I ended up after having to leave the GT at four in the morning after a major misunderstanding with my roomates.
I took a taxi to at the Hyatt at Embarcadero- too expensive for 6 hours sleep. Got turned away at The Phoenix which was the only other place I could remember the name of(I was slightly distressed at the time)
Somehow got to the Red Coach. Might have been taxi drivers idea.Who knows?
Definitely use it again if I found myself drunk and shelterless in Downtown SF in the early hours
