Last night I literally dreamt up a new venture catering to lonelyhearts. I give you: Singleton Sleepservice.
The idea is that if you're lonely and can't get to sleep because you don't have a warm body to snuggle up to, Singleton Sleepservice comes to the rescue. You log on on to the website and select a few preferences: Male or Female, Snoring or non, early riser or sleeps in; and a few parameters: Sleep position? (Back, side, stomach) Sleeping orientation? (limbs entwined or perched on opposite edges) Sleep temperature? (popsicle toes or horizontal blast furnace). You can choose to host, or go-to.
All participants are required to be freshly showered, must wear full coverage night garments, and agree to refrain from making or responding to sexual advances. (This is a snuggle service. Sex services can be found in the back of the free weeklies.)
The site links up compatible people based on selected criteria and geographic convenience.
As soon as I posted it to my social networking site, two of my least favorite people signed up to come snuggle me. Fortunately my creativity and subsequent events all occurred during an actual dream. Because obviously, there are a few wrinkles to iron out.
Edited to clarify the upside.

That would be the upside of events occurring in dreamtime.
I think I might pay a hobo for a hug. It's hard being a modern day hermit-you sort of miss human touch.
