Milestone 57: First Complaint

I finished my first complaint yesterday. It took me over 30 hours to write in dribs and drabs of 3-4 hours at a time. It was probably an easy complaint to write, not so many causes of action and four of them redundant based on whether a contract should be rescinded or cancelled and whether consent was improperly obtained through factual fraud or undue influence.

Nevertheless, I learned how to plead things specifically, and how to incorporate allegations and external documents by reference.

Hopefully it won't come back marked up too much like a christmas tree.
