Consumed by rage

Maybe it was the full moon.
Maybe it was the two day hangover.
Maybe it was the looming interview that has nothing to do with work.
Maybe it was the lack of looming interviews that have anything to do with work.
Maybe it was having my massage therapist cancel.
Maybe it was the thousand niggling things that alone are nothing, but together illustrate all too well the utter lack of human decency in modern day life.

When my wireless card went haywire today, refusing to link internet programs with various connected wireless routers I very nearly lost it. 4 hours of straight rage! Cursing, shouting, quiet seething, bulging veins, blood pressure blasting higher by the second.

Once home, even my connection to the fixed, encrypted net was completely FUBAR.
See QIR rage.
Rage QIR, rage!
ugh.

Thank god for Clunker, my old and trusty win98 machine. Clunker saved me. I was able to get back to potential sublettors, and I was able to research the Trademark Moot Court competition I am applying to tomorrow.

Thank god also for old friends who respond to panicked voice mail and offer to fix things, for free.

Now I just feel tired and sick, like an old, smelly sponge left in the sink. At least it's a good ending to a crappy day.

Better luck tomorrow.

Well, does it work, at least?

QIR-IMO first year jobs don't matter all that much. Save the rage for OCI next semester.

But if you are looking-the Chicago SEC office was doling out positions my first year. I think they have an office in San Fran-you should check.
