I win

I'm feeling peaceful, relieved and vindicated; the emotions are not in conflict. Moot court is over.

I won today's argument, although given the facts, there was no reason why I shouldn't have. The judges really complimented my opponent for doing the best she could with an unwinnable argument.

They liked my brief a lot, and I got a kudo for being the only one to recognize that the inclusion of a federal question is a requirement. That pat on the head felt good.

Apparently I don't smile enough though. The female judge felt compelled to let both of us lady lawyers know that our smile is our best asset and that we should use it because judges are people too.
