Moot Court Conundrum

On April 17th I'll face off against my opponent in our Moot Court program. What to do, what to do.... One of the Moot court board members advocated that we practice in front of our opponents.

I don't mind practicing, but I'm not at all sure that I want to do it with my opponent. My brief was short and shitty, barely qualifying in length for the "good faith" effort required. As usual it was way short on analysis. That notwithstanding, I hit at least one more issue than she did, and I've done further research on it.

My problem, I'm not really interested in giving away my arguments, especially those developed post brief. My opponent raised some issues that I didn't, which means I get to respond to them even though I didn't brief them.

We don't get graded on this, we just have to show up and make a good faith effort. What to do, what to do...
