That was ugly

Unlike Prof Civ Pro who kindly gave us enough time to write our exam AND tidy up, though who killed us with a gazillion multichoice questions, Prof CrimLaw Ran Us Into the Ground. That was an ugly, ugly exam. I burnt half the time allotted for the first essay question on getting organized and setting up for the exam in general. Question 2 was the easiest as it required a treatment of murder that resembles the treatment of the Search for Personal Jurisdiction. A measured march with known traps and pitfalls. Question 3 had some of that but with all the added fun of accomplice liability and conspiracy maybe. I dunno. I do know that I failed to bring stuff that even now, I can't remeber.

Post exam a fair number of folks headed over to the Siren Salami, a pub near school. That was good. Knock back a few pints and talk about not talking about the exam and merely agreeing that it was hard and that our brains are tired and that life would be better if Prof Crim Law were able to remember what the biases 1Ls come to school with, and why those biases preclude the rationale favored by the courts and long time Crim Law professors.

Ah well. I didn't feel drained after CivPro, but I sure as heck feel drained now.
