Just like October

Just like October today is a gorgeous blue day. I am happy, and the recently washed world smells like damp earth and green things, not the fetid smell of rotting autumn. Just like October, I want to be outside. I want to feel the sun on my feet and the crown of my head and the bridge of my nose. Just like October I need to study, but I also need printer paper, resume paper, pit stick and coffee. Consumerism in my world never quits. Just like October I have a looming all-weekend exam and a desire to get my environs all squeaky clean before exam time arrives and I lock myself in my room with a pot of coffee and stereo speakers set to 11.

Unlike October, I will actually get some studying done. Outside. I have decreed it, and it shall be so. As soon as I get back with the printer paper that is.
