late to class

I was late to torts on today, because I decided it was important that I keep my promise to the Women's Law Assn and show up with the promised Reese's brownies that I'd promised for our fundraiser.

I thought I'd outgrown bakesales, apparently not. I got up at 6:15 raced to the grocery store, raced back home, prepared evil from-a-mix brownies, throwing in the cup of halved reeses mini cups that makes them so special, showered and got to school as quickly as I could. Normally, I sit way up front in the third row so that I can lip read the professor as well as listen. Not today. I sat at the very back, on the stairs, because there was no way that my big bootay was going to be able to squeeze past every body as I wriggled into my seat.

It's interesting from the back of the room. More omniscient. Most of the class talkers, such as myself are down near the front, we look like dweebs from the back of the room.
